Cleaner shrimp might also be an option. Could get a couple of those.

I have two cleaner shrimp.
I know I am kinda prolonging the inevitable but I havent found a cheap tank large enough to do treatment in.

Neon gobies can only be kept in singles not as a pair? The main reason I ask is the lfs I plan on buying from is buy one get second half off.

neither help with ich. most would say the gobies are much better suited to aquarium life as the wrasses don't do well on aquarium foods.

Neon gobies are ok in a male female pair but otherwise fight. Try to get two already paired. Sexing them is very difficult.

Unfortunately, neons won't help with your ick problem. When I was fighting it in my tank, I actually found them to be very susceptible to ich.

Mated pairs do well, otherwise not.

Wow, glad i ran across this, just about to hit the go button for 2.

So, 90 gallons is not enough space for two neons?

If they are a mated pair, sure. If not, definitely not.

really, two neon gobies will fight in a big tank? I'd think they could stake out different ends of the tanks. I've seen half a dozen neons existing peacefully in a big tank (about 150 gallons) before.

I wonder if it is due to the fact that once they see each other, they just hang out and duke it out and not even think of going seperate ways?

Heh, a 150 is twice as big as a 90
