5 foot tank with 4 foot t5 fixture?
hey all,
i am having a 5 foot tank 60x24x24 built... i was planning on using a 4 foot hanging t5 fixture with 8 bulbs that would be short 6 inches on each end.... 4 foot stuff is much more readily available... willl this light ok..??? i dont mind it being a little lower light at the very end as i can put lower light type things there...i am hoping the light would spread to mostly cover the 5 foot... thoughts?? |

I have a 150 (5 footer) with 48" rack of 6 bulbs and have no complaints.

I prefer to have the light slightly shorter than the tank actually. Im going to put a 24" fixture on a 32" tank.
