Oriole angelfish. anyone here have one?
so i got one a few days back bicolor.(yellow head w/blue tail) seems to be doing well so far. but not much of a eater. ive seen him pic at the rocks. and some seaweed i had clipped to a rock. and ate some brine shrimp two days ago. He looked perfectly fine when we got him. but on the right side of his body i see a white patch. but i think its to early to diagnose as ICH or Velvet. so for now im assuming that he just been getting scrapped from the rock. because he always coming and going inside his cave. and other gaps that he can squeeze by. also another thing is that he is starting to for a orange smudge on his cheek. wasnt able to get pic of that cuz he is so skittish. what do you think.

uh, did you just put an angel in a 14 nano?
If you did, you need to get that angel out of there. They need much more space than that, and this fish will not survive in a nano. I don't know if Oriole's are considered dwarf angels or not (although I would think they are because they look so much like a bi-color). Most dwarf angels need at least a 30 gallon tank or larger to do well. PLease, if he is in a nano, get him out, and please do not buy an angel again. There is a short list of fish that will do ok in a nano tank your size, and at most, you should have no more than 2 nano fish!

Here is a good starting point to give you some ideas as to what fish would typically do well in a small nano tank.
http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/a....cfm?c=15+2124 In the future, please research the fish you intend to buy before you buy him. Don't get the wrong impression, a lot of us have been there before, and many of us have made mistakes in this hobby. I am hoping I am wrong and that you have another tank other than what is listed, but if you made a mistake and put this guy in a 14 gal nano, just get him out ASAP, and learn from it. The site I hooked you up with can give you tons of info on a variety of different fish. For example, here is the info page on the fish you bought. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/p...433&pcatid=433 Every bit of info may not be exactly what everyone goes by, but if nothing else, this site can give you a good gage on fish and their tank needs.
