Preggo Cleaner Shrimp
Hey Everyone,
I just noticed that one of my cleaner shrimp is carrying a ton of eggs under her. Is there any chance of the eggs actually becoming shrimp, or will everything be consumed by the fish? I think it would be cool to actually get them to live, but I have a feeling I know what the answer will be. Justin |

It's possible, but pretty unlikely in a tank with predators. I know lysmata are raised fairly frequently, and with some semblance of ease if you have the right foods for the larvae.

Check out MOFIB.com
Many friendly people breeding many different things. Actually, The skunk cleaner shrimp is one that many people are working on. Quite a few people on mofib have raised them to adulthood. Theres tons of information on that site about breeding just about anything that can be bred in the aquarium. Good luck! |
