Longfin Fairy Wrasse...
I hate to brag, but I will... :-)
This is a really beautiful fish. He is eating well immediately after coming home from the LFS, and I hope will provide many years of entertainment for our family. This fish is in the fairy wrasse family (Cirrhilabrus rubriventralis ), but flashes his reflection in the glass like a flasher wrasse. He looks less like a fairy as well, but...

Wow! One of the nicer specimens of C rubriventralis I've seen in a while. I'd be bragging too if it were mine.

You have a very nice-looking male.
Yes, the fairies and flashers will display or show their exciting colors to 'threat himself' appearing on a glass. I will cover the sides and the back of the tank with black boards and turn off all the lights in the room. You and he may find 'another male' on the glass after the dark. |

Thanks everyone! Does anyone have a female of this species? He is so much fun to watch, I am tempted to locate a female for him.
I took a video of him flashing his reflection as M. Tanaka describes. Am trying to figure out how to down-sample it to a more web friendly file size...
