Blue Spotted jawfish opinion

i was looking to get one of these guys. how are they to have in a tank? anything important i need to know about them? also i have a golden dwarf eel in my tank now. only the width of a pencil. would he be able to eat one that is about 3-5 inches? thanks for any info

They are one of my favorite fish! They have so much personality. They are very shy at first but when they get used to the tank, they are very brave. THEY WILL JUMP IF YOU HAVE ANY OPENINGS! That includes through egg crate. I currently have 2 in different tank and love them both. I am not sure how your eel would behave though..

Awesome fish! I agree that they are a little shy at first. Make sure that you have all of the building materials jawfish need to build their burrow - live rock rubble (small enough for them to pick it up), deep sandbed of at least 4-5 inches and maybe a few shells. Mine usually puts a shell or a pei e of rock over top of his burrow at night.
