Plexy Glass

I have a 20 gallon aquarium from topfin (24"L, 16"H, 12"W) and I was woundering what type of thickness I need or does it matter.

Thickness of what, the plexi? What are you going to be using this for?

What do you mean What are you going to be doing this for? If you mean what type of tank then a 55 gallon invertibraye aquarium.

While you stated that you have a 20 gallon tank. Then you asked what thickness of plexi you would need. Since that tank is already built it is safe to assume that you weren't talk about the 20 gallon tank.

Are you going to use the 20 gallon as a sump, and wondering what thickness of plexi would be needed? Your first post wasn't clear at all to me.

Sorry I am just tired, I have a 55 gallon display tank and a 20 gallon sump, I need to know what thickness I need to have for my sumps walls.

1/4 inch is the smallest I would use.

There really wouldn't be any maximum. I have used 1/4" on my 20 and 30 gallon sumps, and it is working great -- the oldest sump was made 7 years ago.
