acrylic or starphire for 400 gallon?

i am planning to upgrade my current tank to 400's gallon
96x36x 27 which is better. i live in california earthquake is normal
but i hate sanding my tank because of scratches. thank you

how many sides would this tank be viewable??? if only one you could go plywood with a glass front to cut down on weight
