black coral
right really worrying now, i have got a finger leather coral and the trunk is turning black? whats going on?

softies turn black, hard coral turns white.
this only happens when they're dying. I would check your alkalinity levels and PH. trace elements will suffice with water changes. Is the tank new? did you rush into putting stuff in it? is your glass brown? have you cycled? is the tank established?(different from cycling).

yes tank is pretty much done. test results are all normal really which are salt at 1.027 nitrites are at 0 nitrates are about 0.02mg and amonia is 0 so everything is ok really other corals are really doing well polops are out everyday and long. ph is at 8.0-8.1
