looks like everyone seems to be the same price..although I noticed www.hellolights.com has free shipping I think with orders over $150 it's free at M.D. also... such decisions... Or should I just buy a new piston and rings for my dirtbike=)

Try Steve at www.coralreefecosystems.com. I buy mine from him, and he's got them listed for $72.95.

Your Reef has them for $85. Awesome price for an LFS.

SaltSupply carries them for $82.95, I think.

Great link, Jeremy!

Yeah, I've not found anyone that can compare with Steve's prices for lighting components.

Glad to hear the Fireball is doing well for you. It's the prettiest red cap I've ever seen, but since I'm going to be setting up a 70g, I don't want to give up too much real estate to a cap.

Dan I just got mine at YOUR REEF they have some left.
Im really impressed with them only thing is I cut back my light period to 4 hours from 7 hours for a week so that my corals adjust to the intense lighting

Dan, let me know when you want to place that order. I'd like to get one Radium on your order if that is OK.

FWIW, I always will pay a few dollars more to support our local vendors, before ordering elsewhere.

Remember, they are also our neighbors too.

I agree Doug, but Steve is a nearby neighbor, over in the Northbay. Not the same as the local stores, but good in my book.

I hope that I didn't come across otherwise.

I just wanted to remind people to give the little guys a shot first.

Locality is subjective.

Nope, just clarifying. I have also bought many of them from John. Depends on my planning, my mood, and my wallet.

LoL What else is there ?
In my case it was change bulbs or bleech more SPS.
I wanted to dump some money in my 300 gallon build parts but I have to keep my 100 going.
So I need to confirm how many and what types we need then I will ask John.
So far it looks to me like
Dan Maybe 2 not sure DE or SE ?
Marc Maybe 1 not sure DE or SE
Kelly 2 SE
Myself 1 SE
I will have to see how many we can get sold ?
The thing is thier price is some times based on quanity so Im not sure how many we need to commit to for him to get a great price break to make this work for everyone.
But Im willing when I see him tommarrow to give him a number and see what he says.
BTW my Inbox is now empty
