Help me design a contemporary stand
I would really like to go with a clean and modern look for my next stand ... does anyone have any pictures of some contemporary stand designs with exotic woods?? we don't want to go with metal or formica/plastic finish - we would love to go with an exotic wood finish to compliment the tank - thanks.

Here's my metal/wood hybrid. It is actually white poplar stained varathane 'red chestnut' for the door frames, with natural maple panels. Panels one the side are magnetic to welded on tabs. Front panels are hinged to bolted on 1"x3" strips. The stain was a very quick wipe on/off and looks very much like mahogany up close grain and all.
