I have maintained a few ETSS skimmers for clients and have mixed opinions about them. They are rather large and require a larger pump than most skimmers. They are also hard to adjust even though they state they do this automatically. I could rarely get it to collect dark skimmate, but this may have been because of the poor installation. The method ETSS' skimmers use to make the bubbles is not as efficient or consistent as the newer methods. If set up correctly, however, it does have the potential to pull some nice skimmate. $150 is a very good price and I'm sure its still in good shape because they're built like a tank.
