salinity??????

I keep my tank around 1.024, but just read the ocean is around 1.026. what do you keep your reef at?

I keep mine at 1.026 but know people who keep it at 1.024 and as high as 1.028. If things look good and your happy keep it where it is and if you decide to raise it do it slowly.

I try to keep mine at a constant 1.025. 1.024 is great. What ever your salinity is, the key is stability and not allowing it to fluctuate.

i keep my salinity at 35 and the sg at 1.026

I use a refractometer, and even with that 1.026 if difficult to see, however 35ppt is. This is what I currently use, but used 1.023 for a long time with fine results.....

Stability is what is most important as mentioned.

1.025 for me and yes stability is key.

1.026 (35 ppt) and I calibrate with pinpoint solution.
