how many holes are too many?

i dont want to weaken my tank to the point that it will pop, so... using my 65, i already plan to have 1 2" bulkhead and 4 1" bulkheads, just for the closed loop system. will it be ok to add a 3/4" (return from sump) and maybe another 1" to feed the sump? just feels like a lot of holes ya know.

but.. i may just do a HOB overflow box, one of the eshopps units
http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...m?pcatid=18358 and then drill a 3/4" return from the sump that will have a spray bar for the LR

clear as mud?

My 300g glass tank has a total of eight holes in the bottom, ranging from 3/4" on up to 2". There are five holes in the back, one 1.5" and four 1". I'm not worried at all about it failing.
