Green stuff appearing on sandbed

Im starting to get this bright green stuff building up on my sandbed.. All my water parameters are in line.. And i am only using ro/di water.. The tds meter says the output is 0ppm on it.. am i over feeding??

is it soft or hard

Well i have this green stuff on the rocks too along with red but its hard so im guessin its just coralline algae.. But the stuff on the sand isnt soft like cyano its jus on the top layer in some spots

Good question as I am getting the same thing. Mine is soft.

If it's soft and grows in strands, it's probably green hair algae. It's usually caused when your tank has high levels of nitrates and phosphates.

+1 on the nitrates and phosphates. Your test will result in a 0 reading if you have algae because the algae is absorbing it to grow. Doing water changes helps.
