Is it acrylic?? If so use weldon. If not I would absolutely not glue it. Is there enough material left that u Can flatten it out or even it up and slide a hose over and use a clamp??

I would not glue it. I did that to an external skimmer, and when I switched my sump location I was stuck with the skimmer in an odd position.
You can try teflon tape, I did and it sealed the non glued PVC well. Another thing you could also try, or even add it to the teflon tape, is silicone grease. The teflon tape gives a very tight fit, I did not even have any salt creep on my fittings after several weeks.
