Growing phyto using sunlight on the north side of the house?
I've been using VHO for awhile now to keep my phyto cultures going but am curious about moving them into the window. Less power, all the better right?
Does anyone here grow phyto with in a window with northern exposure? Tips, tricks? I suppose I could supplement the lighting but would much prefer not to. Even in the winter months if possible. |

I have mine in the window. Grows well. I'm growing nanno-whatever which is supposed to be the easiest one. I havent tried it with other species.

I'm not sure what the difference would be but the window faces the West. My biggest concern is to not let the phyto get too hot which I think it does sometimes but it's still growing pretty well.
