the vibration is from the pipe from my return pump to the DT, around 4 ft long. PVC hard pipe. My pump is a Eheim 1264, DT is 5ft by 2ft by 2ft. I think the vibration is caused by the water pressure ? Thanks

I would recommend adding a soft connection from the pump to the pipe. Without any more info to go on I'm assuming it is the harmonics of the pump your getting since it is hard piped and the following suggestions are based on that assumption.

I would cut the pipe back some and put in either a couple barb fittings and some clear tubing or some flexable pvc spliced into the line with a few couplings (as close to the pump and you can get).

I have vibrations from my return to the display. I used some pipe insulation foam from home depot (in the water heater aisle) and wraped the PVC from the sump to the stand. Dampened a little sound, but not all.

You might try putting some rubber or cork under the pump itself. That is probably the source of your vibration. Also the suggestion of cutting out a small section of pipe and replacing it with flexible is good. Hope this helps.
