powerheads for sps

I aquired a birdnest and an acro as well as some monties. Running powerheads but they are on a 30 cube- Currently running an aquaclear 30 and 2 20s. Also a renax xp3 filstar return filter and soon my 10 gallon return fuge. !st is this enough? Second should it be blowing into the stonies. I mean they were all blowing across the surface but there polyps were not coming out now when I point 2 down towards middle it hits the birdsnest and acros and makes them come out. Should the current e direct?

Also the birds nest is so pink with all lights off, with them on its more brownish purple. How to get the pink pink? Runnig 2 36 watt p.c actinces and a 250 watt 20k hamilton halide

It should be a broad current that visibly moves the polyps constantly. It should no be a focused stream like a maxi jet delivers. That can blow the flesh off. As far as color under your lighting give it time to adjust. The pink may not seem as pink due to the fact you are running very blue bulbs. It's not bad for the coral just changes your perception.

aquaclears have the fans that you can direct the flow. They dispears fairly well do to the fact they are smal with low gph. If I stick my hand maybe 3-4" away cant even feel stream dispearss by then, Better to have them pointed towards the stonies?
