chiller stopped working. NEED HELP

Good morning,
I need some advice/help on my 1/4h coralife chiller.I woke up this morning and its not working. If i tap on the display it lights up for a quick sec then nothing. The chiller is about 3 years old and was well takin care of.
How should i go about this?Take it to a appliance repair guy or isn't coralife in Carson?Kind of at a lost tank temp is 85.4 and i put some fans to cool it off.Dont have alot of cash to spend on a new one.
Im sure the built in controller is at fault. So how do i figure out how to install say like a rancho controller or something like that to it,thats only if the cost of fixing the built in is greatier.

any advice/help would be helpful and appreciated.thank you

Not really sure what to say and I take apart my AC units all the time. You could run a ranco controller with it but you need to have the wiring diagram for the chiller and be privy to what would hook up where. Kind of hard to explain over the net, but, if you get the right wires hooked up, it would work. You could also call coralife and ask them how much thier controller is, may be the same amount as a ranco. Just be sure it is that. Heck, worst case scenario is you plug the chillers compressor and pump wire into a socket directly. Maybe even through a timer that has the manual dip switches. Hour on, hour off, etc.
