Freshwater dip without killing corals?
Hi, I´m trying to capture a mantis, I´ve already captured 3 and there´s 1 left. I have lost about 8 fish that I knew it was the mantis, and about other 8 that never knew, but probably the mantis did it, I have no other crabs etc.
The mantis is very good at hidding, I have taken half of the rocks out and are in my sump. However I´m gonna have to freshwater dip many rocks in order for the mantis to come out or die. These rocks have corals on it. How long can I dip them in freshwater in order to kill the mantis without killing the corals. What about the rocks that have xenia on them?, or anemone? Please tell me if corals will get harmed and how much exposition time can I have to kill the mantis with freshwater and not kill my corals. |
