I would think so as long as you keep up with the regular water changes.
Maybe a percula or occelaris clown? Their not as aggressive as some of the others. Or maybe a goby of some kind. |

Gobies are usually a good bet on the smaller systems. A clown would work, I've seen people put them in smaller tanks and they seem to do fine.

thanks i would put a watchmen or another type of goby in there but blennies can bully gobies so i think i might go with a 1 onx perc. also i keep up with water changes so water quality should not be an issue.
a little off topic on this thread but i have a a spare 25 watt heater and its small enough to fit in the back chamber in the bc14 but im not sure if 25 watts is strong enough to work, is it? i currenly have a 100 watt which is probally to much in the display. i was thinking since theres a top on the tank the heat might not escape so a 25 watt would work. thanks jordan |

I would say the heater should work, maybe just a little underpowered, but it should work. Also, it might be better than the 100 watt heater due to the fact that if the 100 watt heater fails in the ON position, you are going to cook your tank. The only way to know for sure is to try it! Just keep an eye on the temp and be mindful of your rooms ambient temp (highs and lows) and how they effect your heaters ability to heat and maintain temp without significant dips\recovery time from temp swings.

They usually say 5 watts per gallon, but like Asterix said, it's better to be under than over.
