150W HQI bulb to make colors POP!

I'm a switching out the lighting on my tank, and am interested in a bulb to make colors POP, using a single 150w HQI bulb. Maximum growth is NOT my primary concern. And I will be supplementing my HQI 150w bulb with some PC's that can help with the higher spectrum supplementation.

That said, much of the day the tank ill be run with a single 150w HQI bulb. So I'd be much appreciative of recommendations for bulbs that accentuate color.

To my eye the Marine Depot pics of the Sunburst 12000K look ideal. But it appears those don't come in 150W HQIs. Also, on that same web site, the XM 20000s and the Hamilton 14000s look good too. But I know that info has been on that site for a number of years, and the experts here may have better, more recent information.

Thanks in advance!

phoenix 14k is great as well as the radium 20k. Those I believe are the best out there for color

I have to agree with the above post as well. I have ran both the Phoenix and the DE Radium 150's. Both give great color and pop to corals. I do have to say that I had a little better growth with Phoenix though.

Thanks for the 2nd data point on that Bill! And just when I was about to go order a Raduim 20K too.

Actually I really was... now I've got to go do more research on the Phoenix's. I know I said my concern was not growth, but color. But all thinks being equal, getting better growth is, well... better.

Thanks.
