Is 225 a good deal on a used perfecto 120 RR tank?
Just as the title implies. I stand to get a used Perfecto 120 tank alone for 225 bucks. It seems to be in good condition and seller says he has 4 tanks total so I guess I could pick the best one.

It sounds like a fair price. I have a Perfecto 120 (not reef ready) and I paid more for it 8 years ago.

Considering I've seen them at $500+ for a new one, with one corner overflow, I'd say yes. Just make sure it holds water before you load it up and take it home. I'd also check the braces and make sure the seals around the glass are good. My friend went to buy a tank and there was a ton of silicone caulk around three of the seals. The guy told him it was like that when he bought it, but it was clearly new. Come to find out, the tank had been sitting in the guys back yard, with no cover, for a few years and most of the seals had deteriorated. He had also caulked the center brace because it had cracked and separated from the trim ring.
