I don't think you will be happy with a single 150w MH over a 90 gal mixed reef tank. Look into at least twin 150s, but better, go with the twin 250s b/c of the depth of a 90.
Just an opinion. |

If you go to aquatraders and buy their product you will regret it for the rest of your living days. Cheap ballasts, cheap bulbs, cheap everything.

I didnt know they put one 150w mh in a 48''strip though they always came with two, they only put one in 24'' or 36'' right and aqua traders dont even sell a bouble 150w strip but looking for somthing around $450 or so if I can pull it off. If I can't ill go with 8 t5's

These 48" lights are T5's, 2 150 MH and led "moonlights" all built in with a timer. I plan on bringing Sunlight tubes to the tank this fall. I did not want to spend a fortune on lighting.
However, I am sold on this company. I had a problem with the timer, that I ended up believing was my issue. I did not read the instructions right. However, AquaticLife bent over backwards to ensure I was satisfied. http://www.premiumaquatics.com/Merch...AquaticLife-MH

I got a 48" dual 250 watt on the auction site for $289. It is a factory reconditioned unit but it looks perfect.
They also offer 150 watt units. Then I bought two T5 units to supplement the halides. I stayed well under your $450 range. |
