mantis shrimp molting, comes out, than starts molting again?
ive had my n.wennerae for around 2 weeks and today 2 days ago i noticed his main burrow closed up so i thought to myself he was molting. today he came out, unchanged for a couple hours, i did a water change, and he closed up his burrow again. what is happening? the burrow is closed up all day/night and the only thing bad about the tank is there is a lot of diatoms. before the close up of the burrow he was acting very wierd, not paying attention to me and seeming very busy. is this normal molt behavior?

Yep, mine is doing the same thing right now. Don't worry about it.

Either he's done molting and is resting or he hasn't molted yet but just opened his burrow again.

I have no idea, sorry. Dr. Roy might be able to help you on that though.
