Ninja Star Snail vs other snails
I had picked up a four Ninja Star Snails along with some other snails about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
So far, none of the crabs have attacked them - they must not desire their shells. I thought they would only be on the glass, but I usually only have one on the glass and the rest on the rock. Do these snails do as good as a job as others cleaning up algae? Is there any other type of snail that is not prone to attack from crabs and lives longer than the margarita snails? |

They look cool but if a hermit wants the shell, the hermit is going to kill that snail.

I think they are just astrea snails from a different region. They look cool but seem to be a little pricey IMO.
