Red face Pump in Sump for Phosban Reactor

My sump is totally full with 2 thermometers, large return pump and skimmer. I plan to purchase a PhosBan Reactor and hang it outside the sump. It was suggested to get a pump w/ 100-200gph flow. I will need to use a pump with a very small footprint...any suggestions? Because the pump will be in the sump, the reactor hanging on the sump and the tank way above these, will the gph flow make any difference? Will the reactor work like my skimmer where the pump takes the sump water in to the skimmer and puts it back in to the sump? This is all too confusing to me ?! Thanks!

you can get a mini jet or MJ 400 they are pretty small and will stick to the side of glass or acrylic. the phosban reactor will come with hoeses too and yes pump from sump then back to sump just make sure that when you set it up have the valve(it comes with this too) turned all the way down and work up to the flow you need, it should be a slow tumble with very little surface agitation of the media

Everyone is going to have their own opinion on this, but the instruction manual for the PhosBan Reactor recommends a flow rate of 20 - 30 gallons per hour. I run mine at that rate with great results. You can run a very small powerhead or tee off from an existing return line. The complete manual is availalbe on the Two Little Fishies web site.

I have a two little fishes phosban reactor with a microjet 404 for flow. I have the valve turned down some to prevent it from pushing the water to fast through the media. The pump is small and has been very reliable for me..
