or would you choose differently

Id go with the Phoenix bulbs and not the Hamilton. Hamilton was pretty white when I owned them. Phoenix is a nice crisp blue.

Phoenix all the way. Hamilton's were wayyy too white/yellow for me.

The phoenix run well on most ballasts. I've had good success running them on hqi ballasts (m80) and the galaxy electronic ballasts.

Tewkes, so the electronic with the phoenix bulbs still looked good just a little bluer I assume?

I am in the same boat here.

Consider the EVC lamps over both!

Hope this helps,

what if you had (4) 110 watt vho bulbs you could run to help with "blue" actinic lighting.

would you still go with phoniex over 14k hamilton. I heard that hamilton has the best par for 14k 250 bulbs.

14K Phoenix DE...I'm leaning towards not installing my T-5 actinics in my canopy. The Phoenix light is bright, crisp whiteish/blue....or Blueish/White (as my wife would say)
