this light work for 10g frag tank?

i plan on plumbing a 10g frag tank into my main system. will this light work? http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...3&pcatid=20413

i dont need growth i just need the frags to be colored up and stay healthy till they are sold. i plan on having the frag tank so i can get the ugle frag racks out of my main display.

would i need to buy 2?

the frags will be 5-6 inches from the water surface

Unless I am missing something in the description, there is no indication of the wattage of the light source to give you an idea of how much light is emitted. Perhaps emailing them and inquiring about this would give you the needed information.

i dont think that these (even 2) would be enough to keep corals happy. you should check out aquatraders.com 150 mh/t-5 fixture that 109.99 .

20 inch hqi, phoenix 14k bulb. if you want to keep them long term. if just short term, maybe those would work, if you got a few of them.

Get a HO t5. If you want the colors to stay good while your selling them get a 4 bulb t5 fixture for now. You never go cheap with lighting. I dont know who would purchase a 100$ halide/t5 fixture.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.
