help replacing calcium reactor pump

I recently got a new calcium reactor that has a burnt out pump. I have been doing some research and got in contact with the company that makes it.

here is a link: http://www.marinetechnical.com/page12.html

I have a slightly older model than what is pictured on their website. The pump that came with it (burnt out ) is a little giant 2. I called and they said that that particular pump has changed and that I should replace it with a pan world blue line 20 pump http://www.aquariumspecialty.com/cat...5ae6c1d2518186

The only issue now is that I will have to replumb the fittings. My question is, does it matter how may GPH are going through the calcium reactor? I'm so confused. Can I throw any pump on there that will push the water through the calcium?

All help is appreciated!
