Skimmer cunudrum....replace or new?

Hi guys,
I am hoping to get some input on my problem....I have a 100l reef, things where running smoothly up until a week ago..My skimmers pump packed it in.I bought an broken Deltec APF600 last year, replaced the skimmer body (was smashed) and was happily skimming away with a great skimmer at a fraction of the price.
Now my dilemma is this.To replace the pump(one of the new 2009 models) would cost me around 170 GBP,to buy a new MCE300 would cost 160GBP........
what would you guys do?Would be grateful for any ideas or opinions...

id buy a new skimmer, you can get something brand new which will do the job for under 150 fella, deltecs have a good reputation in the uk for sure, but there are other makes which will work and work well on your nano
