VHO question

I have a 660 Ice Cap Ballast I was wondering if all the bulbs have to be the same length. Could you have 2-6' bulbs and 1-4' bulb for a total of 16 '. Or do they all have to be the same length? Thanks Tom

you can mix and match to your needs as long as you dont go over the rating for the ballast. 16 feet total length. and the 430 ballast is 14feet i do believe.

No, you can run the (2)6' with the single 4' with no problem. That's the great thing about the icecaps.

Right now I'm running a 65 watt CF, 24" T5, and two 48" T5"s with no problems.

Like stated before, as long as you stay under 440 watts - 16', you'll be fine (whatever the combination)
