WOW-Reeflux 10k color shift to pink with age

I have always run Reeflux 10ks for the last few yrs and never noticed an issue with them at all. I usually replace them at 6-8 mths of age and never noticed any color shifts. A non reefing person came over and mentioned the tank looked a little pink and asked if it was from the stuff painted on the walls ( Coraline ) I really didnt notice it since I look at the tank everyday and its always been a bright tank. Just for giggles I put a new bulb in and REALLY noticed what they were talking about. The bulbs in there were just past 5 mths of age and they really shifted to a pink color. The new bulb is on the left in the pic as you can tell.

Watch your bulbs as some of them do change with age and I guess I finally found the pink color some Reeflux users talked about....I guess its a good time to play with other bulb options now.....

Sorry for the bad pic as it was taken with an older Kodak camera with not many adjustments

Do you know if that color shift happens with the Reeflux 12k's too?

Has the new bulb on the left burned in yet? I found with my Reeflux 12k's that during the first week they were super blue (almost a 20k look) and then they turned into the crisp white look they are currently putting out 2 months later.

The one on the left has about 3 weeks of use on it 8 hrs a day already. Its my spare bulb in case something happens to one of the others. I ran it on my 29g for awhile before putting it away till now.
Dont know about the 12ks as I have always run the 10k Reeflux since Coralvue came out with them yrs ago

I was just showing they do shift colors with age
