Using High-Pressure Sodium for Metal Halide

I have two 400 Watt high pressure sodium diamond lights and was wondering if I can use these as a metal halide. I know I can't use them without any sort of conversion but I was wondering if anyone has done this. I found a site that sells conversion bulbs, one converts metal halide into high-pressure sodium and the other converts high-pressure sodium into metal halide.

The reason I'm asking is because I want to know if this is safe and if its worth even giving it a shot.
