LR Setup and Water movement
Tank is 29 Gallons and has about 40-50lb of Live Rock. The tank is currently setup so the live rock forms kind of an upside down "U" with one power head on each corner of the tank.
Question is, I picked up a Koralia 1 water pump and would "if possible" prefer to use that over the two power heads. With that in mind what would be the best layout for my liverock in order to achieve this? Also will one Koralia 1 be enough movement on a 29 gallon tank? I also have a mini canister filter with a spray bar and the protein skimmer that help move water as well. |

on my AP24 i use a k1 and a maxi jet 1200 for the return. a k1 in a 29 is koo but u might wanna add another one depending on what kind of corals u wanna keep. u just wanna get flow to all the dead spots.

u can have it how ever u want just try to get movement in al areas. i have my rock kinda laying on the back wall and my return has a T that splts with 2 loc-lines i point one to the back of rocks (between the back wall and rock) and the other one is point toward the right near the middle. then i have the k1 to the left near the top pointing to the left near the middle. u will have to adjust where the flow is in order to make corals happy. rock work is really up to u
