Chaeto lighting cycle
I've lit chaeto 24/7 before and I saw no detrimental effects but I would like to know if this is recommended. I know you light Caulerpa 24/7 so it won't go sexual but that's not a problem with chaeto. The reason I want to go 24/7 is that I'm trying to fight a low pH problem and want the benefits of CO2 consumption.

I keep my chaeto lit 24/7...I am not getting much growth dont know if this could be part of the reason. I have read it should have 6/7 hours of rest however don't know how much stock to put in it. Maybe we'll find out. I was worried about the ph swing as well. Was considering a reverse cycle to see if the dark periods net more growth.

I've always read it just helps keep the ph from swinging by doing a reverse light cycle.
