Getting a good seal on media reactor?
I am using a Precision Marine SR35 media reactor to run carbon. Whenever I take it apart to change the carbon, I always have a tough time getting a good seal again. Many times, the best I can do is get it to where my fingers get wet when I touch the part where the lid twists onto the body. Could I use vaseline on the o-ring? Or are there any other ideas to get a good seal on it that will allow me to open it when I need to change the carbon?

On the "my reef creations" web site they say to use vaseline on the seals. I assume that, if its ok for a MRC CR-2, its ok for a PM SR35. Check the PM web site to see what they say. Hope that helps.
