Lighting Change Switch
My brother is thinking about switching from his Cora Life 6' power compact to a T5 systems. His tank is 6' long and approximately 3' deep. He asked me if I knew how many T5 bulbs he would need for his aquarium. He has basic corals, mushrooms, polyps and a few leathers. Please let me know

Unfortunately, being 3' deep, the t-5s will have a hard time penetrating that deep. I would say at a minimum go with 6 bulbs for softies. If he ever wants to go to any SPS corals or the more light demanding of the LPS, then it would be worth it to go ahead and get MH now.
