What is this stuff on my live rock?
Hi everyone,
At first I was thinking it was some kind of algal growth, but it's growing off of my live rock, as opposed to spreading over its surface, so I've got no idea what it could be. To give you an idea of scale, that's a tube worm to the left. My tank is about 2 weeks old. Phosphate is a bit high (.3) but I'm changing some water tomorrow which should help abate that. Everything else is normal. What is this stuff? Is it healthy? Thanks for the expertise! |

I agree....
the pink/purple stuff is coralline algea... the other vein looking thing is most likely a tube feather duster... |
