Red Slime Remover vs. Chaetomorpha

I've been battling slime algae for about 3 months now, and I've finally resorted to dosing Blue Life's Red Slime Remover. I dosed at 1/3 recommended strength.

I'm worried about my chaeto. I didn't put two and two together until after I had already dosed the Red Slime Remover. I'm worried that if the chaeto dies it will release all the nutrients it contains into the water. Will that chemical kill the chaeto too?
