Help

I just recently set up a frag tank.

A 40g breeder with a few levels of egg crate.

50 lbs. of live rock and 40 lbs. of live sand.

A wet/dry minus the bio balls.

A marineland cyclone HOB skimmer.

A over flow with a mag 7 as my return.

I am noticing foam developing along the top of the tank. What could this be from?

Also, very little tiny bubbles are escaping from the maxijet 1200 that is hooked up to the skimmer.

I have 6 39watt t-5 HO lights running the 3 white 8 hours/day and the blue 10 hours/day and the 8 LED lunar lights when the others are off.

I am also noticing a little bit of brown algae starting to grow on the glass on my overflow and front of glass.

I used water from a tank that was already cycled to fill up the tank over a week ago and there was a hint of ammonia. I gave it a couple days and all parameters were ideal and cycle was done. I then added the skimmer and a piece of coral to the setup.

Anything I am missing here?

the blue from 8am - 6pm, the white from 9am - 5pm and the blue LEDS from 5pm - 9am.

I am going to add some live rock and caleurpa to my wet/dry along with a clamp on 6700K bulb for a small fuge.

Please help with anything I am missing.

Temp - between 76 and 79 degrees F
Salinity - 1.025
Calcium - 450 ppm
Alkalinity - Ideal according to my test strip
Nitrite - 0
Ammonia - 0
Nitrate - very little - ideal according to the test strip

As for flow, right now I have the return angled towards the surface to get some water movement. But I would like to add some koralias. Recommendations please.
