5ppm Nitrates, 10.5 dKH and 440ppm Calcium according to API.
The colony sits about 20" under 2X150W 14k Phoenix, and 2X96W CFL, in the corner. I feed the tank lightly 5-7 times per week and it's not unusual for the acan to catch a pellet, piece of shrimp, or whatever I happen to be feeding. The tank gets a few squirts of Cyclops every couple of days as well. I don't bother with target feeding - the shrimp just steal the food from the corals anyway. |

at first one head every couple of weeks with no target feeding (which is suppose to accelerate growth pretty well) but now that its like 5x the size it was in the beginning and completely engulfed the rock it was on its stayed at the same size
it started like this but after it got this size it has not gotten any bigger |

I started with 1 head in August 2008 and in August 2009 had 12 heads. I don't target feed.

2-4 heads a month with 3 x week target feeding with Salifert pellets. Had to stop due to too much growth on some colonies.
