I check my calcium level daily using a Pinpoint electronic calcium meter. I have found that I need to add about 1oz of liquid calcium every other day to maintain a 450 level. Current level today is 457 tank 1 and 463 tank 2. Added calcium last night to both tanks.

How many kgs of liverock do you have in there also? Many thanks for the answers.
PS, you have a very nice tank. Hopefully my own tank can be as nice one day. |

The return pump is a Rio 2500. The skimmer pump unknown as it came with the unit. Lighting 150 watt 15K Phoenix and Koralia 2 pump. Cooling fan. That is it for equipment. There is approx 40 - 50 lbs of rock in there believe it or not, can't tell but from the photo but there are only 3 pieces in each tank, mostly Tonga table top. Thanks for the response and praise.

As far as your lighting can you tell us the fixture? I notice it is a good ways away from the tanks surface as well.
I have a 150 sunpod over my solana however, I have been hesitant on adding a clam due to light spread. Do you feed your tank phyto or any other type of food for filter feeders, or just what the fish eat and expel? Very nice. |

The light is a double ended 150 watt MH that came with the unit. No I don't feed the clams other than to moniter the calcium level on a daiuly basis. I think your sun pod will be ok my lights are about 8 inched from the top of the glass
