How much tumble? GFO Reactor
Just got my PhosBan Reactor 150 hooked up today and wanted to know how much tumble should I allow? I have the pump (maxi 400) dialed down and am seeing a few "tumbling" areas on the surface of the GFO (BRS HC GFO) media. I was thinking I would see the entire surface moving, but it's just a few areas really. Is this correct or should I up the flow to allow more tumbling across the surface? Hope that makes sense.

I would up it so that it looks like a little more of the surface is "boiling". You just want enough to keep it fluidized so it does not bind up. Too much and it will abrade on itself and you will get fines in the tank.
