Fixing shock from a euro reef pump. Possible?
Before i buy a new pump for the unit which is 120 dollars (ouch) I'd like to know if I can fix the problem by maybe siliconing something? Anyone have any experiance? I know my safety should come first so if not I will replace it but my pockets are kind of tight right now.

You can try getting some silicone and sealing all splitlines on the pump. Inspect the cord closely for nicks and cuts. You can silicone nicks and cuts also. It wont be pretty but has worked in the past for me......
If your getting more than 20 or so volts out of it do something immediately.......
