Clean up crew questions
hey RC, I was wondering what you all recommend for a clean up crew. I have a 20 G with
1 clownfish kenya tree Caribbean Feather Duster GSP's x number of nassarius snails 1 astrea snail A pretty large blue hermit crab I'm not exactly sure what will happen if I add small hermits in with the big guy. Thanks in advance for any advice! |

well i found in the past that my old large hermit pretty much left the little ones alone... they would seem to be more interested in a larger shelled animal whose shell they can steal if they grow out their own

i would suggest 2 or 3 tubos, 5 ceriths, and 2 or 3 nassarious if you have a sand bed. if you absolutely want hermits i would suggest like 5 scarlet reefs. you dont have to buy your entire cleanup crew at once, so work from there and gauge if you need more by how well they keep your tank clean
