Youtube links in signature?

I apologize if this is the wrong thread... didn't know where to put it.

I had a youtube link in my signature but it has been removed (not by me). I am assuming it is either a bug or a moderator did it? I didn't get any notice or anything, I just noticed it. Is this not allowed and if so why not?

Links (( youtube or not )) aren't allowed in sigs.

While in your case I am assuming that the link was harmless, but not allowing them for anyone is just easier. It was mainly put in to stop people from linking to their business in the sig.

Ah that is unfortunate. Was just a link to my tank, too. Ah well. Thanks for the quick response.

Would adding something like "check out my tank on youtube under username lordofthereef" be acceptable to put into a sig?

What would be better, is to put that link has your "home page" --- the old "red house" with the older version --- and put in your sig "check out tank vid at my homepage" or something like that.

If you click on my name, a drop down will appear and there will be an option to visit my home page --- which is to my photobucket account. My sig still says "click red house" -- too lazy to change it.

do you need a special membership to have a "home page" - - I can't seem to find out where mine is.

Click on your name on the top right where it says :

WELCOME: tims28gnano

Click on the Contact Info button.

OR:
Click on anyone's name in any post and choose view profile 1st option
Then click on the contact info button
