Popping the window and frame out should not be a problem and should be real easy probably about 6 screws and some caulk. push and pull the window out then you have a nice block frame of your house to slide it in, you dont want to leave the frame on, it will get damaged. I did al lthe windows in my house not knowing anythign abotu them and it was the easiest thing i have done.

mrferrit...you'll have to stop by and show me then. lol
And mflamb, how much would you say the stand weighs? I ask you since you built it...how much steel did you use? I'm talking about just the stand and not the canopy attached. |

Hmmm, ok. Thanks though!
Anyone else up for some serious meat on the grill and a few Corona's to help me get this window out...and more importantly, BACK IN? lol Might need some help actually getting the tank home from Orlando too. I have help loading it on Tom's end (thanks to all helping from the Orlando club) but need the help of a truck or two to get it home. Ran out of funds for a UHaul. Anyone that can help is a plus. I know that firedog (Matt) is in...who else? Thanks in advance! |

Thanks a TON man. I will owe you BIG time. The coolest thing in the world is finding people that have the same addiction as myself. I will let Tom know that next Sunday it is (November 8th). I will work on the rest of the help until then. At the very least, we can get it home and into the garage if no one can help me get the window out and back in.
THANKS AGAIN!! P.S. Anyone up for helping get a humungous acrylic tank off of a trailor and possibly through a window? (should be fun lol) |

Also just so everyone is aware...the tank is in Orlando (Pacific Reefs house) and needs to come to Port Richey.
Thanks for all volunteers! P.S. Russ - I can pay you the club dues that day instead of waiting until the meeting. |

The day is definitely next Sunday, November 8th. The time is determined by when all the help can be assembled. I could care less what time it goes down!
I appreciate all of the help! Everyone use this thread to post what you all want to eat. I'm a big 'grill'er' so let's throw some grub on the fire. We can do steaks, chicken, burgers, dogs, chops, ribs, whatever. If you don't like meat, just throw some ideas up on here. I'll check in on this thread to make a shopping list. Beer would be more of a byob...I'll supply all of the food. I can't even imagine trying to buy 10 different kinds of beer. lol THANKS AGAIN! By the way, MY address (where the tank is going) is 10910 Rexdale Ave in Port Richey 34667. If Tom wants his address posted publicly he can do so, otherwise PM him (pacific reefs) to find out the address of where the tank is getting picked up...although I think there's enough muscle on that end. The party will be where the tank ends up - Rexdale Ave in PR. |

No day/night for Russ. You guys need some brawn to help on this side of the Bay as Russ can supply the means to transport but he cannot lift.

I'm still in the dark as to what time this will all go down...I know it's Sunday but I'd say it's up to Russ as to what time he wants to start since he's the most important cog in this machine. I'm still unsure as to what to cook...maybe I'll just do some of ALL of it and folks can pick? Dogs, burgers, steaks, etc etc.
I'm getting excited!!! |
