Silly Question about fish mates???

i got a 75g setup thats been up for maybe 4 months. 2 months ago i bought 2 b/w clowns and they were the only fish i had in there up until a week ago i bought 3 green chromis. before my clowns were kinda lazy lol but ever since i bought the chromis my clowns are more active swimming waaaay more. there's no agression to the chromis, i was just curious if the clowns were possibly bored if that makes sense and are happy to have "friends" in the tank with them??

There are a lot of fish out there that need 'dither fish' to be out before they will come out much. Chromis are great dither fish.

+1 on the dither fish... I noticed the same thing when I got a school of chromis, it made the skittish fish in my tank come out and swim in the open.

BTW: Watch out with just 3 chromis, they should be kept in larger groups (more than 4). With three, two will gang up and kill the weakest, then the last two may duke it out until you are left with one.
